Clement Mansfield Ingleby collection of notes and clippings relating to various scholarly interests [manuscript], ca. 1880.

Materials relating to Ingleby's interests topics as varied as Shakespeare, philosophy, and mathematics. Notes, drafts of letters, parts of essays, clippings from The times, and copies of extracts from books, mostly in Ingleby's hand. Also includes clippings of dealer catalog descriptions, all concerning Milton. The largest item, an unfinished manuscript entitled "Iris : five dialogues on the perception of objects," has been cataloged separately.
